After a long and fruitful toil, we have Recommend.ly Beta 3.0 ready for launch!

We’re considerably excited with version of Beta. There is a incremental value in this version to the functioning of Recommend.ly and we believe that the service is now able to make a significant difference to Page owners on Facebook.

Recommend.ly Beta 3.0 – what’s new?

• The speed and reliability of Recommend.ly are now vastly improved, thanks to a server upgrade we made recently.
• We also added new features requested by users such as you, in the Beta 3.0 version. Significant among them is the consolidated email for multiple pages. We also now allow editing your email ID and time of delivery
• Conversation Score is the biggest addition to Recommend.ly in this version. We launched the alpha version of CScore recently, to tremendous response from Page owners and experts
• Recommend.ly is also in sync with most of the changes in Facebook introduced since the last upgrade
• We’ve added a Free preview section to Recommend.ly now, and you can view a small part of the report for free for any Page you own

A lot of awesome features are under development too, including a mobile application for Recommend.ly

With these updates, we believe that Recommend.ly is now ready to become a paid service. The user survey we have undertaken recently has also given as the confidence that users find the service useful enough to pay for it. An overwhelming 80% of the users have also indicated that they will recommend this service to people they know! That’s really heartening to know. We also cut our price from $29.95 to $9.95 based on user feedback. We plan to add cooler features to the service that can really change the game (yes, we have a few up the sleeve!) soon.

For our existing users, we have extended a 30 day Free usage period, as a token of appreciation. So, if you are an early user, you get to use the service uninterrupted until October 5th, 2012. Thereafter, we’d very much appreciate if you sign up for the paid subscriptions. From time to time, we also plan to roll out coupons in exchange for referrals to reward our loyal users.

How does the subscription work?

Going with the Recommend.ly philosophy of clearing the clutter, there won’t be any contracts or period commitments greater than one month at a time. By paying $29.95 $9.95, you will subscribe to one month’s worth of our well-admired daily recommendation service. The subscription is renewed each month, upon payment. Your card will be automatically debited each month until you cancel the subscription. You can cancel the subscription any time. There will be no cancellation penalty or future obligations, once you cancel.

We also offer  a ‘no-questions-asked Money-Back guarantee if you don’t like the product within 30 days of your subscription.

What if I don’t subscribe?

Your subscription will be active until October 5^th 2012. Starting October 6th 2012, you will be able to only view Preview reports for your Pages and most of the features of Recommend.ly will be disabled for you. You will also not receive daily email.

How does the money back guarantee work?

You can opt to get a refund of the money you paid, if you fail to see value for money. You’ll have to raise your request for money back within 30 days of the payment of your sum. If you wish to opt for refund, please mail to subscriptions@recommend.ly indicating the Page URL for which you’d like your money back. We’ll send you the information on how to claim your money back and usually process the request within 7 working days. We refund the entire $9.95 without any deductions.

What is the Preview Report?

A Preview report will give a glimpse of recommendations generated for your Page including part of the posting calendar, list of active and inactive fans, conversations to participate in, etc. However,

- you won’t receive daily email

- you will be able to view only part of the recommendations and

- you won’t be able to schedule or act through Recommend.ly

…unless you subscribe to the paid plans

Do I get a receipt for the payment made?

Yes, we will send you a receipt which you can use for claiming expenses.

How many users and Pages is one Subscription valid for?

Each subscription is valid for one Page and one user only. If there are multiple users (Admin) for a Page, each user will have to individually subscribe to access Recommend.ly’s recommendations. Also, one subscription for $29.95 $9.95 is valid for one Page only.
