To build authentic connections on Social Media, honest and transparent communication is the only way to go. Any attempt to sugarcoat or deny reality is only harmful.
Check out this example on Dippin’ Dots page. Sad, they are going through a legal battle with Regions Bank. The Page had the courage to declare it on Facebook and reassure the fans that they ‘maintain the same positive and productive spirit by which Dippin’ Dots was born nearly 25 years ago’. This kind of open, honest communication endears a business to its Fans and help build trust.
