Contests on your Page increase connections to your Fans. However, not all fans participate in your Contests. An easy way to increase participation is by allowing Fan voting on the entries. Particularly for contests where visual content is the ‘entry’, it becomes easy to ask Fans to vote, thereby increasing participation.

Here’s an example of a contest on Fox8’s page, where wives are asked to upload pics of husbands wearing seatbelts… and getting fans to vote on the pictures. Great idea!
