Reward engagement

If you want fans to engage with you, you need to give something in return. One excellent way to do that is to announce rewards for ‘right answers’ to your questions. The trick is to keep the questions simple, bordering on ‘trivia’. Anything higher in IQ that that won’t get too many answers, unless your TG is Dr.Sheldon Cooper!

Check out this post by Faraci Pizza, rewarding the fans with $25 gift certificates for guessing how many gallons of ‘home-made pizza sauce’ are used by Faraci’s in a week.

This is an excellent post because, it not only drives up engagement through rewards, it educates the fans about the brand. Did you notice the phrase ‘home-made’ in the question? Don’t you love them a little bit more, just for that?
